Product Description

The IRONBAY Hex Dumbbell Sets combine our standard Hex Dumbbells into complete weight packages designed for home gyms, commercial facilities, and personal training studios. Every set uses the same Hex Dumbbells found throughout our product line, offering identical construction, materials, and long-term durability.

Each dumbbell features a solid round steel core instead of welded steel plates or concrete filling, providing improved structural strength, better weight consistency, and reliable performance through years of regular training.

The PVC and rubber composite coating is selected to balance durability, odor control, and cost. Under normal conditions, the dumbbells are virtually odor-free. Some users may notice a slight odor immediately after opening the package, which typically dissipates within 48 hours in a well-ventilated area.

The chrome-plated ergonomic handles feature medium knurling for a secure yet comfortable grip during everyday training.

Every dumbbell is manufactured to the IRONBAY Weight Tolerance Standard and individually inspected before packaging. Purchasing a complete set provides a convenient way to build a consistent free-weight system with matching appearance, feel, and performance across every weight.

Where is IRONBAY Fitness located?

Can I pick up my order in Calgary?

Yes. Local pickup is available at our Calgary store at 2015 32 Ave NE, Unit 22. Place your order online and wait for the “Ready for pickup” notification before coming to the store. Most in-stock orders can be prepared quickly for pickup.

Do you ship outside Calgary?

Yes. We ship to every province in Canada. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination, size, and weight. If the actual cost comes in lower, we refund the difference. For remote areas, we confirm the shipping cost with you before we ship. You'll get a tracking number by email once your order is on its way.

Can I visit your Calgary store before I buy?

Yes. Our Calgary store and showroom at 2015 32 Ave NE, Unit 22 is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. Come test benches, racks, and machines in person before you decide. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Interac, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Do you offer delivery and assembly in Calgary?

Yes. Delivery only is $150 to a garage or yard, or $250 to a basement or apartment. Delivery plus assembly is $450 (about 4 hours of work). For heavy equipment like the All-in-One Functional Trainer, email us at info@ironbayfitness.ca before ordering.

Can I return a product?

Yes. Eligible products can be returned within 14 days of delivery or pickup. Keep the original packaging and keep everything clean and complete. There is no restocking fee, but return shipping is on you. See our Return & Refund Policy for the full details.

Are your prices negotiable?

No. Our prices are final. But we do match Canadian competitor prices — find the same product cheaper at any Canadian online or retail store and we'll match it. If you're buying for a business, email info@ironbayfitness.ca about wholesale and FOB pricing.

Do you restock sold-out products?

Yes. Most product pages show the next restock date. You can also email info@ironbayfitness.ca for an ETA. If you need it by a certain date, ask us and we'll give you a straight answer.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, as long as it hasn't shipped yet. Email info@ironbayfitness.ca with your order number. The sooner you email, the better — once a shipping label is printed, we can't stop it.

What set options are available?

Four options: 5–30, 5–50, 5–80, and 5–100 lb. Each weight comes as a pair. Racks are sold separately. Most home gyms do well with the 5–50 set — pick the range that matches your training.

Are they sold as singles or pairs?

Pairs. Each set includes two dumbbells of every weight, so you get a balanced pair from 5 lb all the way up.

What are they made of?

A solid steel core with a PVC and rubber coating. They're nearly odour-free — no strong rubber smell. The coating also protects your floors and keeps noise down.

Will they damage my floor?

The rubber coating protects your floor, and the hex shape keeps them from rolling away. They're drop-tested for 1,000 cycles. For heavy drops, a rubber mat underneath adds extra protection.

How accurate is the weight?

Within ±5% of the stated weight. That's standard for rubber hex dumbbells — accurate enough for general strength training. You won't feel the difference in a workout.

What is the handle like?

Chrome-plated steel, 5 inches long, with medium knurling for a comfortable, secure grip. The medium knurl holds well without tearing up your hands, even on high-rep sets.

Your prices are so low. Is the quality bad too?

No. We buy straight from the factory — no trading companies, no middlemen — and we do everything ourselves, no agencies or outsourcing. Low prices come from low overhead, not cheap materials. Everything is in stock in our Calgary warehouse with a real warranty, and damaged items get replaced.
