This Cosmetic Standards Policy explains the cosmetic conditions that are considered normal during the manufacturing, transportation and assembly of fitness equipment supplied by [Company Name] ("IRONBAY™", "we", "our", or "us"). Cosmetic variations that do not affect the intended function, safety or structural integrity of a product shall not be considered manufacturing defects.

1. Acceptable Cosmetic Variations

The following cosmetic conditions are generally considered normal and are not covered under warranty, return or replacement unless they materially affect the intended use of the product:

  • Visible weld marks or weld finishing;
  • Minor powder coating texture variations;
  • Minor chrome plating variations;
  • Casting lines or casting texture;
  • Minor machining marks;
  • Light manufacturing oil or protective lubricant;
  • Minor color variations between production batches;
  • Minor packaging damage that does not affect the product itself; and
  • Other cosmetic characteristics commonly associated with commercial fitness equipment manufacturing.

2. Conditions Considered Manufacturing Defects

The following conditions may be considered manufacturing defects upon inspection by IRONBAY™:

  • Missing components;
  • Incorrect components supplied;
  • Products that cannot be assembled as intended;
  • Incorrect frame or structural parts;
  • Manufacturing defects affecting structural integrity;
  • Manufacturing defects affecting safe operation; or
  • Other defects that materially prevent the product from functioning as designed.

3. Shipping Damage

Damage caused during transportation is not considered a manufacturing defect and shall be handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.

Customers should inspect products upon delivery and report shipping damage promptly with supporting photographs and videos where applicable.

4. Refurbished and Resale Products

Products identified as Refurbished, Open Box, Clearance, Used or Resale products may exhibit additional cosmetic wear, scratches, coating imperfections or other visual characteristics consistent with prior use.

Such cosmetic conditions are disclosed by the nature of the product and shall not constitute defects unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.

5. Limitation of Liability

Cosmetic conditions that fall within this Cosmetic Standards Policy shall not qualify for warranty service, replacement, price adjustment or return solely on the basis of appearance.

Nothing contained in this Policy limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Canadian law.

6. Policy Updates

IRONBAY™ reserves the right to amend, modify or replace this Cosmetic Standards Policy at any time without prior notice.

The version published on our website at the time of purchase shall govern that transaction unless otherwise required by applicable law.
